Word was sent to surrounding areas that Yahushua was healing the sick and doing Many miracles. People believed and came to see for themselves.
The pharasees although they were there witnessing miracles performed by Yahushua doubted and tried to put doubt in the minds of the people that believed in Him.
His disciples were human as we are and would believe one minute and doubt the next and they walked with Yahushua.
In chapters 14 and 15 we read that Yahushua healed and fed Many people.
Today there is such lack in Faith of the word that many people have to see it to believe it.
Don't get me wrong I try my hardest to have strong faith and am constantly reminding myself that the enemy is a LIER. I'm going to be honest here but there have been a few times as embarrassing it is to admit 😞 that the enemy tried to convince me to doubt my Faith.
When I finally woke up to the realization that it was what he was doing I made it clear to myself when doubts begin to creep in to remind myself that the enemy is indeed a LIER, Deceiver, Manipulator, among other things.
No one is perfect however we are told to Walk by faith not by sight. People these days have to see it with their physical eyes to prove that it's real. But these same people are also fooled by magicians who do magic 🪄 before their own physical eyes failing to actually see the deception behind the scenes.
We have no problem believing that we breathe air something we can not see with our physical eyes but people have a problem opening their spiritual eyes to see the manipulation and deception going on behind the scenes today.
Being born again means being born in the spirit and looking through spiritual lenses. Faith is believing with a deep KNOWING. Like the Canaanite Woman of whome Yahushua tested her faith.
Matthew 15:22-28
[22]A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Master, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”
[23] Yahushua did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”
[24]He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
[25]The woman came and knelt before him. “Master, help me!” she said.
[26]He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
[27]“Yes it is, Master,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
[28]Then Yahushua said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.
The woman could have very well turned away after being ignored and yet she continues by being persistent going after Yahushua.
I know that many times when I've been turned away by Father and not had my prayers answered it becomes extremely frustrating and discouraging to be persistent.
Perhaps like this woman we should continue to be persistent and keeping our Faith strong that there is no room for doubt. Doubt comes from the Enemy. When we doubt we lack in faith and our belief weakens.
I'm human as was Peter when he asked Yahushua to call him over on the water and his faith was challenged as doubt crept in when he saw the water moving beneath him.
Matthew 14:22-33
[22]Immediately Yahushua made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.
[23]After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone,
[24]and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
[25]Shortly before dawn Yahushua went out to them, walking on the lake.
[26]When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
[27]But Yahushua immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
[28]“Master, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
[29]“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Yahushua.
[30]But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Master, save me!”
[31]Immediately Yahushua reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
[32]And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
[33]Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of Yahuah.”
We too will have moments of doubt. But as our Faith increases in Yahushua being with us the doubt will melt away.
I encourage you to read these chapters and see how they are applied in your daily life and meditate on these chapters so you will know through the Holy Spirit what you need to do to overcome fear, doubt and lack of faith allowing your spirit to mature and grow even more.
